The value of that information depends entirely on how consistently it's captured. When each technician logs findings in their own format, corrective action tracking, SLA reporting, and root-cause analysis all suffer.
Why a Common Template Matters
Ohm Flow's field reporting standard captures the same core fields on every visit: asset ID, location within the array, observed condition, severity classification, recommended corrective action, and photographic evidence. This structure means a report filed at a plant in New Mexico reads identically to one filed at a plant in Texas — no translation layer required between the field and the operations desk.
Severity classification is the field that does the most work. We tag every finding as Informational, Monitor, or Corrective-Required, and each tier carries a defined SLA response window. That single decision, made consistently at the point of observation, is what lets our dispatch team triage a hundred open items without re-reading every report from scratch.

Field reports are submitted from ruggedized tablets at the point of inspection, timestamped and geo-tagged to the exact combiner or inverter skid.
